1. Scope and customer responsibility
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to all access to and use of websites, software, infrastructure, APIs, integrations, and other services provided by Vector Stack LLC (the "Services"). It forms part of the Terms of Use and any agreement that incorporates it.
You are responsible for conduct and content associated with your accounts, including conduct by employees, contractors, end users, applications, credentials, and systems you authorize. You must take reasonable steps to prevent misuse and promptly notify us if you discover a violation.
2. Illegal, dangerous, or harmful activity
You may not use the Services to engage in, promote, facilitate, or materially support:
- activity that violates applicable law, regulation, court order, sanctions, or another binding legal obligation;
- fraud, theft, deception, money laundering, bribery, counterfeiting, or evasion of lawful taxes, fees, or platform controls;
- credible threats, stalking, harassment, extortion, exploitation, or incitement of violence;
- human trafficking, child sexual abuse material, non-consensual intimate imagery, or sexual exploitation of any person;
- the sale, distribution, or promotion of illegal or unlawfully regulated goods and services; or
- conduct that creates an unreasonable risk of physical injury, property damage, or harm to the public.
3. Security abuse and unauthorized access
You may not:
- access or attempt to access accounts, systems, networks, or data without authorization;
- probe, scan, penetrate, or test a system's vulnerability without the owner's prior written authorization;
- defeat authentication, authorization, rate limits, usage controls, isolation boundaries, or security safeguards;
- distribute malware, ransomware, spyware, malicious code, exploit kits, credential theft tools, or destructive payloads;
- conduct denial-of-service attacks, traffic flooding, resource exhaustion, cryptojacking, or coordinated disruption;
- intercept communications, exfiltrate data, maintain unauthorized persistence, or conceal malicious activity; or
- use compromised credentials, infrastructure, payment instruments, or third-party accounts.
Good-faith research concerning VectorStack systems must follow our instructions in the Information Security Policy and remain within any written authorization we provide.
4. Platform and service integrity
You may not interfere with the normal operation of the Services or another user's access. Prohibited conduct includes creating accounts under false pretenses, circumventing service limits, obscuring the source of abusive traffic, manipulating rankings or engagement, generating fraudulent transactions or reviews, abusing trials or promotions, and using undocumented means to scrape or extract data at a disruptive scale.
You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive non-public source code or models except where applicable law expressly permits it despite this restriction. Automated access must use documented interfaces, respect rate limits, and comply with applicable instructions.
5. Privacy, personal information, and confidential data
You may process personal or confidential information through the Services only when you have a lawful basis, appropriate authority, required notices and consents, and safeguards proportionate to the risk. You may not:
- collect, identify, monitor, or profile individuals unlawfully or without required transparency;
- upload or disclose information obtained through breach, theft, deception, or unauthorized surveillance;
- re-identify data that has been de-identified where prohibited by law or agreement;
- expose authentication secrets, payment credentials, government identifiers, health data, or similarly sensitive information through public or inadequately protected features; or
- use Customer Data from one organization for the benefit of another without authorization.
6. Content and intellectual property
You may not use the Services to store, publish, transmit, or generate content that infringes intellectual property, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or other rights; is defamatory or unlawfully discriminatory; impersonates another person or organization deceptively; or is otherwise unlawful.
You must have the rights necessary for content you submit. Complaints about allegedly infringing content may be sent to it@vectorstack.us with enough detail for us to identify the work, material, location, claimant, and basis of the complaint.
7. Commerce and marketplace conduct
When using the Services for catalog, marketplace, storefront, pricing, inventory, fulfillment, or rental operations, you must comply with consumer protection, product safety, trade, tax, advertising, labeling, pricing, accessibility, and marketplace requirements that apply to your business.
You may not use the Services to sell counterfeit, stolen, recalled, prohibited, or unlawfully restricted products; make deceptive claims; conceal required disclosures; manipulate prices unlawfully; evade marketplace enforcement; falsify inventory, tracking, reviews, or transaction data; or infringe brand and distribution rights.
8. Electronic communications
You may not send spam, phishing, fraudulent messages, unlawful marketing, or communications that conceal or falsify sender identity. Bulk or automated communications must be authorized, provide legally required identification and opt-out mechanisms, honor consent and suppression records, and comply with provider rules and applicable law.
You may not use the Services to harvest contact details, purchase unlawfully obtained lists, facilitate caller-ID spoofing, or continue contacting recipients who have validly opted out.
9. Artificial intelligence and automated decisions
You remain responsible for prompts, inputs, configurations, reviews, and actions taken from automated outputs. You must use appropriate human oversight and independently verify outputs before relying on them for consequential business, legal, financial, safety, or rights-affecting decisions.
You may not use AI or automated features to create or distribute illegal content, malware, targeted harassment, deceptive impersonation, fraudulent records, or content that sexually exploits minors. You may not use outputs as the sole basis for a high-impact decision about an individual where law requires notice, consent, explanation, testing, or human review.
10. Fair and reasonable resource use
Your use must remain within documented technical limits and purchased capacity. You may not create excessive load, monopolize shared resources, operate unauthorized cryptocurrency mining, run unrelated high-volume workloads, or take actions that degrade service for others. If use creates material operational risk, we may require mitigation, apply rate limits, isolate workloads, or recommend a different plan.
11. Investigation and enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and preserve relevant records. We may remove or restrict content, limit functionality, suspend accounts, block traffic, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to prevent harm, secure the Services, comply with law or third-party platform requirements, or address a violation. When circumstances permit, we will provide notice and an opportunity to cure.
We may report conduct to affected parties or authorities when required by law or when we reasonably believe it is necessary to address fraud, abuse, threats, exploitation, or security incidents. Our response will consider severity, intent, recurrence, impact, legal obligations, and the effectiveness of available remediation.
12. Reporting, questions, and changes
Report suspected violations with relevant URLs, account identifiers, timestamps, and supporting detail. Do not include unnecessary personal or sensitive information. We may update this AUP as threats, Services, laws, and industry practices evolve. Material changes apply prospectively and will be posted with a revised effective date.
